Fun while it last; doesn't last long!
I bought one of these inflatable bubble spas because I could not afford to buy a hard shell hot tub. I thought this would be good until I saved up the money. At first it was great. It would heat up to 102/103 and felt great; however the blower is loud. After six months of use the plastic tore away from the spout where you inflate the tub rendering it useless. We tried to patch it up but it is impossible to repair at the seam. I knew it would not last forever but I expected it to last longer than six months. When I called Mspa customer service there only comments was "that's a bummer bad place for a tear. I can sell you the body of the spa for $200." No thanks I'll save my money!

Very sturdy and heavy duty
I just bought this today at a pool store for $62 plus tax. I like the fact that it has the time temp and humidity. It is of very good quality and so far seems to be acurate.

It Is A Total Waste Of Money
These things look great when they are working. As someone mentioned they do make a lot of distracting noise but beyond that they are poorly manufactured. I bought a total of 10 of them from two different suppliers and from each at two different times depending on who had the best price at the time. One by one they have stopped working until now I have only two out of the ten still working. I have taken a few apart and it looks like water leaks into the electronics and destroys it. Since I have a masters in electrical engineering I am now trying to redesign them so that they work from real power instead on the noisy water generators. If you buy one my advise is to take it apart and coat all electronics with RTV to protect it from the water. If not plan on it to stop working within a week.

Color blind?
I have a problem with the ph reading on the test strips. I have yet to see the strip turn a color that lines up anywhere with colors on the side of the bottle making the strip useless. The color is not the same tint or hue so I am not even able to guess at whether the ph is too low too high or right on. I have not had any problem with other strips.

Best for Spa
I usually get this product at the spa store in town but having it arrive at my door saves gas and time. Works great to keep the spa clean and sanitized even though I do throw in a few tablespoons of chlorine just in case. We run our spa year round and this has worked for us.

Filters anyone?
We just purchased the Lay -z- Spa II and LOVE IT! It was easy to set up easy to fill and is easy to maintain.
However... we cannot find replacement filter cartridges anywhere retail or on line unless we want to ship from UK. Calls to Customer Service do no good. The reps know they sell the cartridges but don't know how so offer to find out and call you back. If you're not by the phone when they call back you get to go through the whole circus again because you probably won't get the same rep again and the new rep will not know how to sell you the product either.
If ANYONE knows where one can purchase replacement filter cartridges for the Lay-Z-Spa I'd love to hear!
Thanks..

Not as much air as I expected....
I bought this to inflate my Intex Mariner 400 instead of using the hand pump that came with it. With the hand pump it takes me somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes to inflate the boat. With this pump it takes over 15 minutes. This in itself makes it a pointless purchase for me. Maybe I should have done a little more research but I would expect an electric pump to work a little faster than I do.

it's ok....
These are wonderful....if you buy a bunch of them. I bought one and it didn't cover the whole pool like it says it does. So I went back and bought 3 more. It looks really neat now but there are 4 of these things floating around in a 10foot round pool.
